  4. Check if title, description, and image are set correctly.
  5. Fix any missing or incorrect tags in your page HTML.

Frequently asked questions

What are Open Graph tags?
Meta tags in your HTML head that control how your page appears when shared on social media. The main ones are og:title, og:description, og:image, and og:url.
What image size should I use for og:image?
Facebook recommends 1200x630 pixels. Twitter cards work best at 1200x600. Use a minimum of 600x315 to avoid cropping issues. Always use absolute URLs for the image.
Why doesn't my preview update after I changed tags?
Social platforms cache Open Graph data. Use Facebook Sharing Debugger to force a refresh for Facebook, and Twitter Card Validator for Twitter. LinkedIn has a Post Inspector tool.
Do I need both OG and Twitter Card tags?
Twitter falls back to OG tags if Twitter Card tags aren't set. But for best results, set both — Twitter cards support additional features like summary_large_image type that OG doesn't have.
